The Leiden Debating Union hosted a public debate about the question: “Should the EU have acted more resolutely to counter the Crimean Crisis?” in cooperation with IDEA NL and Bürger Europas in the KOG on December 10.
On Wednesday the 10th of December the Leiden Debating Union organises a public debate about the question "Should the EU have acted more resolutely to counter the Crimean Crisis?", in cooperation with IDEA, Burger Europe and VDCH.
80% of the colourful participants of the Africa Works conference stated: Africa Works! Among them: Julia Duncan-Cassel (Minister of Development Liberia), Christiaan Rebergen (Deputy Director-General for International Cooperation, Ministery of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands), Pedzisai Maedza (ASC Thesis Award winner), and a number of Ambassadors, Hans Doctor (Special Ebola Representative) and many other professionals with a passion for Africa.
Trainees from ExposeYour! and members of the youth council of Cardea followed four intensive four-hour sessions of trainings in Leiden. They have now learned all the basics of the lesson plan Mind your Wallet, debate! and can spread their knowledge to other youth. This will allow them to enale ever more young people to talk about financial problems with which they are confronted and start a dialogue about financial debts and challenges.Both organisations reach out to numerous youth.
